Six rooms under one roof – manageable, yet personal. Three rooms for two people, two rooms for three people, and one room for four. Whether you're a couple on a hiking trip or a family: there's something for everyone.
We don't have a dedicated single room. However, if availability allows, you can have a double room to yourselves for an additional €20. Just ask when you make your inquiry, and we'll check what's available.
Each room does not have a private bathroom; instead, there are two shared bathrooms with toilets and showers – one for women and one for men. This is typical of a mountain inn and keeps the stay pleasantly uncomplicated.
Children are always welcome. Children up to 2 years old stay free of charge, children aged 3 to 6 are charged €25, children aged 7 to 12 are charged €40. From 13 years of age, the adult price applies.
Your rooms will be ready from around 4 pm. Since things don't always run the same way up here, this might be slightly delayed. It's best to let us know if you'll be arriving earlier – we'll always find a solution.
On your departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 AM. If you'd like to stay longer, the terrace and the view aren't going anywhere.
Yes, please bring your own towels. If you'd rather save space in your backpack, we can provide some in your room for €6. Just let us know when you make your booking.
Bedding is provided, so you don't need to pack a sleeping bag. You make the bed yourself – it's a cabin tradition – and it only takes five minutes.
Yes, breakfast is included in the price of accommodation. This way you can start your day refreshed before setting off on your hike.
Our kitchen operates during regular opening hours and closes no later than 6:30 pm. So please plan your dinner a little earlier than usual – then the rest of the evening is all yours.
Yes, absolutely. As overnight guests, you can still use all areas even when the restaurant is closed to day guests – the terrace as well as the indoor dining room. So you don't have to retreat to your room.
A quiet evening in the Bavarian Forest, when everyone else has gone home: That's one of the best reasons to spend the night up here.
